HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-352CITY OF PLYMOUTH 'Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 10th day of July , 1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou , Ricker Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89- 352 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF PINEVIEW LANE STREET EASEMENT WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a street easement; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for July 10, 1989 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of July 10, 1989; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on July 10, 1989 to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said street easement; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said street easements as described below is not needed for public purposes; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the street easement described as follows is hereby vacated: That part of Pineview Lane which lies westerly of and adjacent to the east line of the east half of the northeast quarter of Section 3, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Said part of Pineview Lane to be vacated lies easterly and northeasterly of the easement for Pineview Lane described in Hennepin County Document Number 4992689 and lies southeasterly of the easement for County Road 61 described in said Document Number 4992689.
