Pursuant to due cell and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 19th day of
,dune , 19.$2_ The following members were present: Mayor Schneider.
Councilpersons Sisk. Vasiliou and Zitur
The following members were absent: Councilperson Ricker
Councilman Sisk introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION 89-345
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING STAFF TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR HENNEPI4 COUNTY
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT DISCRETIONARY ACCOUNT GRANT FUNDS - 1989
WHEREAS, the Hennepin County Board, by Resolution 89-5-388 has solicited
proposals from joint powers agreement cities for use of Discretionary Account
Funds during 1989; and,
WHEREAS, City staff has recommended submission of alternative proposals in
application for 1989 CDBG Discretionary Account funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does authorize and direct staff
to prepare and submit a proposal to Hennepin County for allocation of 1989
CDBG Discretionary Account Funds in the amount of $260,000 consistent with
Program A as outlined in the Staff Memo to the City Manager dated June
15, 1989.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Mayor Schneider , and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilpersons Sisk
and Zitur
The following voted against or abstained Councilperson Vasiliou
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
