HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-340CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 19th day of June , 1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider�ouncIImembers as 1 ou, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: Councilmember Ricker Counclimember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-340 DEMOLITION OF SUPERINTENDENT'S RESIDENCE - HENNEPIN COUNTY ADULT CORRECTIONS FACILITY WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the acquisition of the superintendent's residence property at the Adult Corrections Facility; and WHEREAS, the former dwelling is not deemed suitable for public assembly purposes: and WHEREAS, the City has received the following three proposals for the demolition of the structure: 1. Thomas Contracting C & D, Inc. - $9,400 2. Ray Anderson & Sons Companies, Inc. - $7,800 3. Pioneer Tree Service - $9,800 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the proposal submitted by Ray Anderson & Sons Companies, Inc., for the demolition of the former superintendent's home at the Adult Corrections Facility, being the same, is hereby accepted in the amount of $7,800. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote n favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
