HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-314CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5rh day of June , 1989. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vasilinu, Ricker, Zit»r and Cisk , The following members were absent: Nonp Crnmcilm mber Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89- 314 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT LOTS 1 AND 2 BLOCK I SCHERER INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, the developer of Scherer Industrial Development 2nd Addition has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following drainage and utility easements within Lots 1 and 2 Block I Scherer Industrial Development 2nd Addition: The south 6 feet of Lot 1, Block 1 Scherer Industrial Development 2nd Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota except the east 10 feet and the north 6 feet of Lot 2, Block 1 Scherer Industrial Development 2nd addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota except the east 10 feet. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of July 10, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymo+tth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Cnunci member Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Va icni,RirkPr.—, Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: Non Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
