Pursuant to duo call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 5th day of June 1989.
The following members were present: _Mayor Schneider,Councilmembers Vasillou,
Ricker Zitur and Sisk
The following me ers were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk Introduced the followinq Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89- 303
RECYCLING COLLECTION AGREEMENT WITH WASTE MANAGEMENT - SAVAGE,
A DIVISION OF WASTE MANAGEMENT OF MINNESOTA, INC.
WHEREAS, the City Manager in his memorandum dated June 1, 1989, has recommended that
the City enter into an agreement with Waste Management - Savage, a division of Waste
Management of Minnesota, Inc., for the provision of a comprehensive recycling
collection program for a period commencinq June 7, 1989 throuqh December 5, 1990; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the City Manager's memorandum and the proposed
agreement; and
WHEREAS, the previous contactor, SuperCycle, has defaulted in its agreement to provide
similar services effective dune 1, 1989.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY
MINHESOTA,.that the Mayor and City Manager
recycling collection agreement with Waste
Management of Minnesota, Inc., for the
December 5, 1990.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
are authorized and directed to enter into a

The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duty seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote beinq taken thereon, the
following voted In favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Ricker,
Zitur and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: Councilmember Vasiliou
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
