Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 5th day of June ,
1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Counc:ilmembers Vasiliou ,
Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Vasiliou introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION h0. 89-278
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT
WITHIN LOT 7 BLOCK 5 DEERWOOD ESTATES ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a certain drainage and utility easement in
Lot 7, Block 5 Deerwood Estates Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for June 5, 1989,
in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of June 5, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on June 5, 1989, to inform any and all
.interested parties relevant to the vacation of a certain drainage and utility easement
in Lot 7, Block 5 Deerwood Estates Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for
public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the following drainage and utility easement be vacated:
That part of the east 6.00 feet of Lot 7, Block 5, Deerwood Estates,
according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, lying
south of the north 10.00 feet thereof, and lying north of a line drawn from
a point on the west line of Lot 6, Block 5, in said Deerwood Estates,
distant 30.00 feet northerly of the southwest corner thereof, to a point on
the east line of Lot 9, Block 5, in said Deerwood Estates, distant 170.00
feet northerly of the southeast corner thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Coun ilmember4 Vaailinu- Rirker- Muir nnri Siati,
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
