. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regalar meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day of May ,
1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider- Cnunyi1mPmhPrq Vaciliott_,
Ricker. Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89-270
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
DEEP WELL NO. 12
CITY PROJECT NO. 909
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the drilling of Deep Well No. 12,
and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to
law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
Bergerson-Caswell
Keys Well Drilling
E.H. Renner 6 Sons

. WHEREAS, it appears that Berger son -Caswell is the lowest responsible bidder, complying
with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Bergerson-Caswell in the name of the
City of Plymouth for the drilling of Deep Well No. 12, according to
the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council
and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of the low
bid of $150,700.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Coon ilmPmhe s Vacilinu+ Ricker 7itnr and $ick,
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
