HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-261CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day of May , 1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou , Ricker_ Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89- 261 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT PLYMOUTH FREEWAY CENTER ADDITION - LOT 5, BLOCK 1 WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a certain utility and drainage easement in Lot 5, Block 1, Plymouth Freeway Center Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for May 15, 1989, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of May 15, 1989; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on May 15, 1989, to inform any,and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of a certain utility and drainage easement in Lot 5, Block 1, Plymouth Freeway Center Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following utility and drainage easement be vacated: The east 10 feet of Lot 5, Block 1 Plymouth Freeway Center Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by CminrilmPmhPr Rirker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayr Schneider- Counci memhers Vasiliou. Ricker. Zittir and Sisk , The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
