HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-259CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day of May , 1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider. Councilmemhers Vasi?_iou , Ricker, Zitur and Siek The following members were absent: Nnnp Cnitncj1mPmbPr Risk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-259 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF DRAINAGE EASEMENTS FOR PONDING IN OUTLOT B - HARRISON HILLS 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a certain drainage easement for ponding in Outlot B, Harrison Hills 2nd Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for May 15, 1989, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of May 15, 1989; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on May 15, 1989, to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of a certain drainage easement for ponding in Outlot B, Harrison Hills 2nd Addition; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easement was not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following drainage easement for ponding be vacated: The perpetual easements for ponding purposes in Outlot B, Harrison Hills 2nd Addition according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by CouncilmPmhgr Vaailiou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmemhers Vasiliou. Ricker, Zirar and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
