HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-257CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 1st day of May , 19 The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Z.ouncilmembers Vasillou, Ricker Zitur and Sisk hing members were absent: None Councilmember Ricker introduced the following Resolution and moved its adopt on: RESOLUTION NO. 89-257 COMMUNITY CENTER (PROJECT NO. 901) ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES AGREEMENT AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT FOR THE COMMUNITY CENTER WHEREAS, the City Manager in his memorandum dated April 27, has recommended that the City enter into an architectural services agreement with BWBR Architects for architectural services in conjunction with the Community Center; and WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that the City enter into a construction management agreement with McGough Construction Company, Inc. for construction management services to be provided in conjunction with the construction of the Community Center; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed said draft agreements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIl,,' OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Manager be authorized to enter into the Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect (1980 Edition) Construction Manaqement Edition as revised with BWBR Architects, Inc. for architectural services to be rendered in conjunction with the Community Center project; and RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Mayor and City Manager be authorized to enter into the Standard Form of Agreement Between the Owner and Construction Manager (1980 Edition) as revised with McGough Construction Company, Inc. for construction management services to be rendered in conjunction with the Community Center project. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote beim taken thereon, the following voted In favor thereof: yor hneider, Councilmembers 71tur and Ricker he following voted against or abstained: Councilmembers 91sk and Vasillou Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
