Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1st day of
May , 1989. The following members were present: ,
Major Schneider. Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker. Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89-253
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF
A DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT
LOT 7, BLOCK 5, DEERWOOD ESTATES ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, the owner of Lot 7, Block 5 Deerwood
Estates Addition has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the
following drainage and utility easements within Lot 7, Block 5 Deerwood
Estates Addition:
That part of the east 6.00 feet of Lot 7, Block 5, Deerwood
Estates, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, lying south of the north 10.00 feet thereof, and lying
north of a line drawn from a point on tnti west line of Lot 6,
Block 5, in said Deerwood Estates, distant 30.00 feet northerly of
the southwest corner thereof, t. a point on the east line of Lot
9, Block 5, in said Deerwoo," Estates, distant 170.00 feet
northerly of the southeast corne- thereof.
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same
to be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of
June 5, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400
Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said
petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said
hearing as provided by law.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councitmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker. ,
Zit..- and cask
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
