Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 1st day of May , 1989. The following members were present: Mayor S hn idPr. Cnnnrilmomherg , Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-233 AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF MINNESOTA LANE ADJACENT TO LOT 1, BLOCK 1 AND LOT 1, BLOCK 2 CHRISTIANSEN'S PARKERS LAKE THIRD ADDITION WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate a portion of Minnesota Lane adjacent to Lot 1, Block 1 and Lot 1, Block 2, Christiansen's Parkers Lake Third Addition; and WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for May 1, 1989 in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the meeting of May 1, 1989; and WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on May 1, 1989, to inform any and all interested parties relevant to the vacation of said street; and WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following street be vacated: 1. All that part of Minnesota Lane Christiansen's Parkers Lake Third Addition according to the plat on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder, Hennepin County, Minnesota described as follows: Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 1 thence south along the east line of Lot 1 Block 1, 92.27 feet, thence east 50 feet to a point 96.1 feet south of the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 2, thence north 96.1 feet to a northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 2, thence west 50 feet to the point of beginning and there terminating. 2. The City shall reserve drainage and utility easements over said vacated street. 3. The City shall reserve a trail easement over said vacated street.
