HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-188CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 3rd day of April , 1989. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89- 188 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF MINNESOTA LANE IN CHRISTIANSEN'S PARKER'S LAKE THIRD ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Mark Rochford has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following: That part of Minnesota Lane Christiansen's Parkers Lake Third Addition according to the plat on file and of record in the office of the County Recorder, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Commencing at the northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 1 thence south along the east line of Lot 1 Block 1, 92.27 feet, thence east 50 feet to a point 96.1 feet south of the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 2, thence north 96.1 feet to a northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 2, thence west 50 feet to the point of beginning and there terminating. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of May 1, 1989 at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
