HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-187CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 3rd day of April , 1989. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Ricker, Zitur and Sisk , The following members were absent: Councilmember Vasiliou Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89- 187 RECEIVING REPORT AND ORDERING PROJECT - STREET LIGHTING 9TH AVENUE EAST OF COUNTY ROAD 101 AND GARLAND LANE BETWEEN 9TH AVENUE AND 11TH AVENUE WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted April 3, 1989, a report has been prepared by the City Engineer with reference to the improvement of 9th Avenue east of County Road 101 and Garland Lane between 9th Avenue and 11th Avenue by the installation of overhead residential street lights and this report was received by the Council on April 3, 1989. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council finds and deiermines that said petition was signed by all owners of real property abutting upon the streets named as the location of the improvement. 2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted April 3, 1989. The petitioners have waived their right to a public hearing. 3. The City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for these improvements. He shall coordinate the work which will be done by the Northern States Power Company. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Ricker. , Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
