Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 3rd day of _ April ,
1989. The following members were present: _Mayor Schneider, Councilmemhers Ricker,,
Zi tur and Sisk
The following members were absent: Councilmember Vasil iou
Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89-185
RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
WELL NO. 10 AND STEEPLECHASE 7TH ADDITION
WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 814
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for Well No. 10 and Steeplechase 7th
Addition Watermain Improvements bids were received, opened and tabulated according to
law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Glendale Contracting, Inc. of Plymouth, Minnesota is the
lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Glendale Contracting, Inc. of
Plymouth, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for Well No.
10 and Steeplechase 7th Addition Watermain Improvements according to
the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council
and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of the low
bid of $82,555.00.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: _Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Ricker. Zitur and Sisk ,
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
