HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-160CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a �special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 13th day of March , 1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schne dei r,Z`ouncilmembers ccer, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: Councilmember Vasillou Councilmember Zitur introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-160 COMMUNITY CENTER - ARCHITECTURAL SELECTION COMMITTEE ROLE WHEREAS, the City Council has previously established an Architectural Selection Committee whose purpose was to assist the Council in developing alternative design concepts for a community center; and WHEREAS, that task has been completed; and WHEREAS, the City Council now plans to proceed further with the planning of a community center and has indicated its intention to retain architects for such project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Architectural Selection Committee be directed to work with architects selected by the City Council to further develop and refine a design for the community center and to provide such other assistance to the City Council with respect to the community center project as the City Council may from time to time direct. The motion for adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Sisk , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: ayor, hneider, Councilmembers Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
