Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of Marcid ,
1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou ,
Ricker, Zitur and Sisk
The following members were absent: None
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89-140
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF CERTAIN DRAIL'4GE EASEMENTS IN
LOT 1, BLOCK 1, GROVES OFFICE PARK 2ND` ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate certain drainage easements for Groves Office
Park 2nd Addition; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for March 6,
1989, in accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 as amended; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks
prior to the meeting of March 6, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on March 6, 1989, to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of certain drainage easements in Groves
Office Park 2nd Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for
public purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the following drainage easements for ponding purposes be vacated:
The ten foot drainage and utility easement within Lot 1, Block 1, Groves
Office Park 2nd Addition, which lies adjacent to the westerly and northerly
right-of-way line of Eighth Avenue (formerly known as Yale Avenue) as shown
on said plat, said Eighth Avenue having since been vacated by Resolution No.
88-816.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Maynr Rrhn id r- Coun ilmemhera VaAiliou} irkPr. Zitnr and Sick ,
The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
