HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-135CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re¢ular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of February , 1989. The following members were present: , Mayor. Schneider, Counellmemhers Vasilion. Ricker, Zitur and Sick , The following members were absent: -Hgne Counc,lmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-135 Awarding Bid for the 1989 Reforestation Proposal WHEREAS, the Forestry Division is responsible for the 1989 Reforestation program to be carried out on City owned lands; and WHEREAS, in accordance with City bid specifications that were prepared, distributed and bid proposals received and opened February 15, 1989 and WHEREAS, the following bids were received: Bidder Greenworks Total Bid $21,654 Hoffman 6 McNamara $22,689 Lino Lakes Nursery $25,880 Fairs Nursery $25,920 Midwest Landscaping $28,850.36 Margolis Brothre $28,880 Dundee Landscap $32,075 Minnesota Valley $38,977 WHEREAS, the bid of Greenworks is in conformance with the City specifications for the plant materials, Greenworks is therefore declared the lowest responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: that it should and hereby does accept the proposal of Greenworks in the amount of $21,654.00 further, that funds for this proposal are authorized from Forestry account No. 206-206-810.26 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, , Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
