HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-133CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of 1bthe City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of February 1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou , Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89- 133 ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS HARBOR LANE STREET IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT NO. 912 WHEREAS, a certain petition requesting improvements of Harbor Lane from Gleason Lake Road to 7th Avenue is duly presented to the City Council on the 21st day of November, 1988; and WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted November 21, 1988, a report was prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvements and this report was received by the Council on December 19, 1988; and WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 3rd day of January, 1989, fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement; AND WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 6th day of February, 1989, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; 1. The Council finds that having received the petition and the fact that as a part of the Pavement Management Program, that improvements to Harbor Lane are required. 2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted January 3, 1989. 2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. is designated as engineer for the improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. The project will include the reconstruction of Harbor Lane from Gleason Lake Road to 7th Avenue and storm drainage improvements as necessary, as well as other appurtenances beneficial to said improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _ Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Ricker,Zitur and Sisk _, The following voted against or abstained: Councilmember Vasiliou Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
