Pursuant to due call and notice thereof. a regular meeting of the Citv Council
of the City of Pivmouth. Minnesota. was held on the 27th day of February . 1989

Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89-130
MUNICIPAL APPROVAL OF STORM SHELTER FOR SUN VALLEY MOBILE HOME PARK
WHEREAS. the Legislature amended the laws governina manufactured home parks: and
WHEREAS. the. Amendment reauired that a storm shelter or evacuation plan for a
manufactured home Dark must be approved by the municipality in which it is located:
and
WHEREAS. the Public Safetv Director has personal knowledge of the Sun Vallev Mobile
Home Park Emercencv Plan and storm shelter area: and
WHEREAS. the Public Safetv Director has approved of this on-site shelter as the most
suitable area in the vlclnity.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH. MINNESOTA
that the basement area of the home located at 10710 10th Avenue North be designated
the storm shelter for the residents of Sun Valiev Mobile Home Park.
The motion for adootion of the foregoina Resolution was duiv seconded by
Councilmember Zitur . and upon vote being taken thereon. the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou
Ricker. Zitur and Sisk
