HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-124CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of February , 1989. The following members were present: , Mayor Schngider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk , The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-124 ORDERING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS HIGHWAY 101 WATER TOWER AND TRUNK WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT NO. 906 WHEREAS, the City has received a Preliminary Engineering Report for the Highway 101 Water Tower and Trunk Watermain Improvements to expand the City's water storage and distribution system; and WHEREAS, it is recommended that the Highway 101 Water Tower and Trunk Watermain Improvements begin construction in 1989; and WHEREAS, plans and specifications are needed for said improvements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. is designated as the engineer to prepare plans and specifications for the Highway 101 Water Tower and Trunk Watermain Improvements in accordance with the Preliminary Engineering Report dated January 31, 1989. 2. That funding for the project will be from the Utility Trunk Fund. 3. That the City Manager is to prepare a proposed Engineering Services Agreement with the engineer for City Council approval. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Cn„nrilmpmhar 7.ittir , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, , 7.i tur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
