HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-088CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 6th day of February , 1989 The following members were present: mayor 5chnelder, ounc me rs-asTliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-88 APPROVING LAWFUL GAMBLING EXEMPTION CHURCH OF ST. BARTHOLOMEW OF WAYZATA WHEREAS, the City has received notice of an application from Church of St. Bartholomew of Wayzata to the Minnesota Charitable Gambling Control Board to operate a raffle at Scanticon on April 8, 1989; and WHEREAS, the Police Department has conducted an investigation and found no reason to deny the application. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it approves the request for Lawful Gambling Exemption for Church of St. Bartholomew of Wayzata for a raffle at Scanticon, 3131 Campus Drive, on April 8, 1989. The nation for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted In favor thereo a or Schneider Councilmembers Vasiliou Ricker Zitur and Sisk The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
