HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-080CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rPg,ilar meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of February , 1989. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou, Ricker, Zitur and Sisk , The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-80 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 77-665 VACATING A PORTION OF LANCASTER LANE BETWEEN 8TH AVENUE NORTH AND 10TH AVENUE NORTH WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Second RNWNL Partnership and Northwestern National Life Insurance Company has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of a portion of Lancaster Lane and the utility easement within the vacated Lancaster Lane: The easements existing over, under and across that part of vacated Lancaster Lane lying between 8th Avenue North and 10th Avenue North being in the southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 36, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of March 6, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Cmincilmpmher Zitur , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Counellmemberc VaGiliou+ Ricker , 7i trnr and Rink The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared 4uly passed and adopted.
