HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-079CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6rh day of February , 1989. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker, Zitur and Si.;k , The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk its adoption: introduced the following Resolution and moved RESOLUTION NO. 89-79 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF CERTAIN DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN LOT 1, BLOCK 1, GROVES OFFICE PARK 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Second RNWNL Partnership has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the following drainage and utility easements: The ten foot drainage and utility easement within Lot 1, Block 1, Groves Office Park 2nd Addition, which lies adjacent to the westerly and northerly right-of-way line of Eighth Avenue (formerly known as Yale Avenue) as shown on said plat, said Eighth Avenue having since been vacated by Resolution No. 88-816. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of March 6, 1989, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by j'n»nrilmamhar 7.4r,vr , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneiders Com ilmamhers Vasiliou Rirkar , Zitur and Qig The following voted against or abstained: Nnna Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
