Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 6th day of FPhriiary ,

RESOLUTION NO. 89-70
ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS AND PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
1989 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM
CITY PROJECT NO. 801
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Resolution of the City Council adopted January 3, 1989, a
public hearing has been called with respect to certain streets in the southwest
quadrant of the city. These plans have been prepared by Snort -Elliott -Hendrickson,
Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the reconstruction of streets by the
installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter and all necessary
appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was
given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 6th day of February, 1989, at which all
persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and
WHEREAS, the City Council directed the Assessment Committee to make a recommendation
for proposed assessments and the Committee has made a recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA;
1. Such improvements as hereby ordered as proposed in the Council
resolution adopted January 3, 1989, except as amended herein.
2. Short -Elliott -Hendrickson, Inc. in designated as engineer for the
improvements. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the
making of such improvements.
3. The projects shall include the reconstruction of:
20th Avenue from Urbandale Lane to Walnut Grove
24th Avenue from Urbandale Lane to Walnut Grove
Queensland Lane from County Trunk Highway 101 to 26th Avenue
26th Avenue from County Trunk Highway 101 west to its terminus.
30th Place North from County Trunk Highway 101 to Walnut Grove
30th Avenue North from Xanthus Lane to Alvarado Lane
Xanthus Lane from County Trunk Highway 24 to Zircon Lane
Zircon Lane from Xanthus Lane to its southern terminus
27th Avenue North from Xanthus Lane east to its terminus
26th Avenue North from Zircon Lane west to its terminus

On all other streets in the project, they will receive an asphalt
overlay. Necessary improvements to the storm drainage will be made
where feasible.
4. No concrete curb and gutter is to be installed in any areas where
concrete curb and gutter currently does not exist, and asphalt curb is
to be installed in all other areas.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Cu„r.ilm ml,nr Ricker , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
