Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rPg„lar meeting of the City Council of
the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held o -i the _ 23rd day of Januar; ,

Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89-61
AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF
DNR AND U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS PERMIT APPLICATIONS
MEDINA ROAD/DUNKIRK MEADOWS DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City has received a proposal from Barr Engineering Company dated December
28, 1988, providing for the necessary services for the following:
1. Prepare an application to the Department of Natural Resources for filling
of the wetland necessary for Medina Road and any filling necessary for
single-family lots.
2. "-epare an application to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for filling of
wetland necessary for Medina Road and any filling necessary for single-
family lots.
3. Develop a plan which would provide on-site mitigation (the entire Dunkirk
Meadows site, except for the fire station) for the construction of Medina
Road and any single-family lots.
AND WHEREAS, said study is necessary for the construction of Medina Road between
Vicksburg Lane and Dunkirk Lane and for development of the City owned property adjacent
to Fire Station No. 3.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA: That the proposal submitted by Barr Engineering Company, dated December 28,
1988, be hereby approved at a cost not to exceed $23,200.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the sum of $23,200 be appropriated from the M.S.A. Fund to
finance this study. At the time the project is under construction, the M.S.A. Fund
will be reimbursed from the funding provided for the project.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by

The following voted against or abstained: None
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
