Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 23rd day of
January 9 1989. The following members were present: ,
Mayor Schneider, Councilmem_hers Vast l'f �. Rit- tier and 4z4,k ,
The following members were absent: Councilmember Zitur
Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 89- 54
RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
WOODCREEK ADDITION AREA
CITY PROJECT NO. 660
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of:
Woodcreek Addition Area
by the installation of storm sewer and channel improvements, and all necessary
appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $74,067.25 and
the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement
amount to $17,752.33, so the total cost of the improvement will be $91,819.58
and of this cost the City will pay $32,787.07 as its share of the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed hereby
declared to be $59,032.51.
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall
forthwith calculate the proper amount to be special assessed from
such improvement against every accessible lot, piece of parcel of
land within the district affected, without regard to cash
valuation, as provided by the law, and shall file a copy of such
proposed assessment in the office for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment notify
the Council thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by CminrilmemhAr ynalliou, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Counrilmemhers j-sW ou-
Ricker and Sisk
The following voted against or abstained: Nnno
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
