HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-053CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 23rd day of January , 1989. The following members were present: , Mayor Schneider, Councilmembers Vasiliou. Ricker and Sisk , The following members were absent: Councilmember Zitur Mayor Schneider introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89- 53 RECEIVE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALL FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS CITY PROJECT NO. 834 UTILITIES ALONG COUNTY TRUNK HIGHWAY 6, WEST OF RANIER LANE WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted October 3rd, 1988 a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates with respect to the improvement to properties north of County Trunk Highway 6 and west of Ranier Lane. WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the installation of sanitary sewer appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the report is being received by the Council on January 23, 1989. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws of 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $179,300. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 6th day of March 1989 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:30 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law. 3. The improvement area is only the South Central and Southeast Areas as defined in the report.
