HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-051CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rPv.,Tnr meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 93rA day of T-qn.,nr* , 1989. The following members were present: Mavnr grbnPidPr#.n n ilmPmhPrc V -Ag , Ricker and Sisk The following members were absent: Councilmember Zitur Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-51 REDUCING DEVELOPMENT BOND DEERWOOD GLEN PLAT TWO (87010 FKA 86084) WHEREAS, in accordance with the development contract dated March 16, 1987, Wiswell Estates, Inc., and International Development, Inc., developer of Deerwood Glen Plat Two (87010 FKA 86084), has agreed to install certain improvements for said development; and WHEREAS, the developer has completed a portion of the street, utility and site grading as noted below; and WHEREAS, the developer has requested a reduction of the development bond to reflect the completed work; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; that the bonding requirements are reduced as follows: Street Construction Sanitary Sewer Watermain Storm Sewer Boulevard and Drainage Swale Sod Pond or Ditch Construction Street Signs Site Grading and Drainage Improvements Park and Trail Improvements Design, Administration, Inspection, As-Builts TOTAL $ 77,200 $ -0- 42,900 -0- 43,400 -0- 15,500 -0- 6,800 6,000 -0- -0- 300 -0- See Grading Permit #4474 -0- -0- 22.332 720 $ 208,432 $ 6,720 That the letter of credit required for the above items be reduced as detailed above from $15,366 to $6,720 to reflect the completed work. Resolution No. 89-51 Page Two FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the bonding requirements for the following items per Section 8.1 of the approved development contract be reduced as follows: V41441.1 ORIGINAL AMOUNT NEW AMOUNT Maintenance of Erosion and Sediment Control Plan Street Sweeping and Storm - Sever Cleaning * Cash: $-0- $-0- Letter of Credit: $-0- $-0- *See Grading Permit No. 4474 FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the street construction and concrete curb and gutter is accepted for continual maintenance as of January 23, 1989 subject to the One Year Guarantee by the Developer. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider. Councilmembers Vagllimi, Rirkpr and gitak , The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
