HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1989-017CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 3rd day of lani,ar4 , 1989. The following members were present: Mayor Schneider, Council_members Vasiliou. , Ricker, Zitur and Sisk The following members were absent: None Councilmember Sisk introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 89-17 CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS HARBOR LANE - NORTH OF GLEASON LAKE DRIVE CITY PROJECT NO. 912 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted November 21, 1988, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik b Associates, Inc. with respect to street improvements on Harbor Lane, north of Gleason Lake Drive. WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the installation of a bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on December 19, 1988. WHEREAS, the City Council directed that the Assessment Committee make a recommendation for proposed assessments and the Committee has made a recommendation. 10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; 1. The Council will consider the improvements of such project in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property to Harbor Lane, north of Gleason Lake Drive and south of 7th Avenue North for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Law of 1953, Chapter 398 as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $223,028. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 6th day of February 1989, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 p.m. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Vasiliou , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Schneider, Onuncilmembers Vas lien_ Rinker- Ritrnr and Stigk , The following voted against or abstained: None Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
