Special Council Meeting
December 4, 2012
Mayor Slavik called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 5:30 p.m. in the
Medicine Lake Room, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, on December 4, 2012.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Slavik, Councilmembers Wosje, Willis, Stein, Bildsoe, Johnson,
and Black.
ABSENT: None.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Ahrens, Police Chief Goldstein, Administrative Services
Director Callister, Community Development Director Juetten, Fire Chief Kline, Parks and
Recreation Director Evans, and City Clerk Engdahl.
2013 Goals and Legislative Priorities
Representatives from Messerli and Kramer discussed with the Council their lobbying efforts for
the Municipal Legislative Commission in 2013. Following this discussion, the Council put
together their list of goals and legislative priorities that will be adopted at the December 11
Council meeting.
Police Chief Goldstein gave a brief update on the status of the joint powers agreement with the
City of Maple Grove for the law enforcement training facility. This item will be on the
December 11 Council agenda.
Set Future Study Sessions
The Council set the following special meetings:
1. December 11, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss board/commission vacancies.
2. January 8, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss City Manager's performance evaluation (closed
meeting).
Adjournment
Mayor Slavik adjourned the meeting at 9:07
