Special Council Meeting
August 26, 1997
A special meeting of the Plymouth City Council was held beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the
Maple Grove Community Center, on August 26, 1997.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Tierney; Councilmembers Bildsoe and Wold.
ABSENT: Councilmembers Spigner, Johnson, Preus, Black.
CITY STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Johnson, Assistant Manager Lueckert, Community
Development Director Hurlburt, Public Works Director Moore, and Public Safety Director
Gerdes.
A joint meeting was held with the City Council and staff of Maple Grove, with discussion on
the following topics:
Lawndale connection
Future joint fire station
Watermain interconnect
Future development of south/southwest Maple Grove
Miscellaneous discussion
Possible skateboard park.
The meeting concluded at 8:40 p.m., and a tour of the Maple Grove Community Center was
given.
