City Managerk____ SUBJECT: Interviews for At -Large Council Position Based on your direction at the study session of December 9, the following interview schedule has been established for Monday, December 16: 6:00 p.m. Phillip A. What is your opinion of potential development in Northwest Plymouth? 2. What do you think the City's role should be with respect to protecting the environment? 3. What are your top three priorities for Plymouth over the next few years? 4. The State has announced a $4.5 billion shortfall, which will likely impact cities. What is your position on maintaining, increasing, or decreasing City taxes compared with maintaining, increasing, or decreasing City services? 5. Have you ever had to take an unpopular position in order to "do the right thing"? Tell us about it. 6. Do you intend to run for office in two years? Agenda Number: TO: Dwight D. ACTION REQUESTED: Review the attached list of board and commission appointees and make any desired changes to the draft resolution. 2. BACKGROUND: On December 9, the City Council conducted interviews of 21 board and commission applicants. Following the interviews and discussion, the Council developed a tentative slate of appointees. The Council delayed consideration of several spots until the interviews for the City Council at -large position had been held. As requested by the Council, I have contacted Ward 4 resident Brian Forrest to determine his interest in serving on the Environmental Quality Committee. He is interested and would accept an appointment to this Committee. The attendance roster for each commission is attached.
