People will be encouraged to sign in, get a nametag, get some food, and sit at round tables for
discussion. Topics will be drawn out of a basket and there will be time towards the end for open
discussion, questions and answers.
Judy Welcome 5:15 — 5:20pm
Judy will introduce the Council and thank students for attending this special council
meeting.
Judy will explain the purpose of this event and how important it is to the Council.
Welcome 5:20 — 5:25 pm
Mike will welcome everyone and introduce the YAC. Encourage each member to stand
and give everyone a round of applause.
Introduction of YAC 5:25 — 5:35pm
Janet and Heather will narrate the YAC PowerPoint..
Door Prizes 5:35 — 5:40pm
Mark will come up and draw names for the following door prizes:
c 1 Cold Stone Coupon
c 1 Fed Ex Water Bottle
c 1 Fed Ex Coffee Mug
c 1 $10 Perkins Gift Certificate
Introduction of First Discussion Topic 5:40- 5:50pm
Chris will come up and draw a discussion topic out of the basket. He will then explain
that students are encouraged to discuss the chosen topic with the council member at their
table for the next 10 minutes. Chris, also mention that there will be time for open
discussion and question later on in the program.
Introduction of Second Discussion Topic 5:50 — 6:00pm
Aneesh will come up and draw a discussion topic out of the basket. He will then explain
that students are encouraged to discuss the chosen topic with the council member at their
table for the next 10 minutes.
Introduction of Third Discussion Topic 6:00 — 6:10pm
Mike will come up and draw a discussion topic out of the basket. He will then explain
that students are encouraged to discuss the chosen topic with the council member at their
table for the next 10 minutes.
Door Prizes 6:10 — 6:15pm
Kristen will come up and draw names for the following door prizes:

Introduction of Open Discussion Time 6:15 — 6:30pm
Janet will ask the City Council to come upfront and then open the floor for questions
from the audience.

Judy will thank everyone for coming and encourage attendees to eat the leftover food!
