BACKGROUND: Karen Chesebrough had served as the Ward 3 representative on the EQC since 1999, and she requested that she not be reappointed to this committee. The Council conducted the board and commission interviews in November 2004, but there were no applicants for this position. Councilmember Black notified us that Terri Christian, who is a Ward 3 resident, desires to be appointed as the `'yard 3 representative on the EQC. Her application is attached. We have received no other interest in the appointment. 2. RECOMMENDATION: Council could schedule an interview with Ms. Christian, advertise the vacancy, or place this item on a Regular Agenda to appoint Terri Christian to the Ward 3 position. BACKGROUND: Currently, there are two vacancies on PACT. Gary Horner who was a system user as well as Mike Cagley who served as an At Large member, didn't seek reappointment to the committee. The Council conducted their board and commission interviews in November 2004, but there were no applications from residents interested in serving on PACT. The Council directed staff to solicit applications. Attached are applications from residents who are interested in. being considered for appointment to this commission. The terms would expire January 31, 2008. 2. RECOMMENDATION: Council could schedule interviews with the applicants, advertise the vacancies, or place this item on a Regular Agenda to make the appointments. ACTION REQUESTED: Review the pending study session topics list and establish future special meetings or amend the topics list if desired. 2. BACKGROUND: Attached is the list of pending study session topics, as well as calendars to assist in scheduling. Pending Study Session Topics at least 3 Council members have approved the following study items on the list) Discuss development standards (NEMO) (Black, Stein, Johnson) Other requests for study session topics: Update with City Manager — quarterly (next mtg.
