RESOLUTION NO. 92- $2'
APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH BASSETT CREEK WATER MANAGEMENT COMMISSION AND
DESIGNATING CONSULTING ENGINEER
PLYMOUTH CREEK PARK POND IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Bassett Creek Water Management Commission has proposed a
water quality project located in Plymouth Creek Park within the City of
Plymouth for the benefit of Medicine Lake; and
WHEREAS, the Commission held a public hearing on the project on November
19, 1992 and at the conclusion of the public hearing ordered the project;
and
WHEREAS, the Commission has also designed the City of Plymouth as the
authority to design and construct the project, which designation is in
accordance with the Joint Powers Agreement; and
WHEREAS, funding for the project in the amount of $65,000 is provided by
the Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Mayor and Acting City Manager are
authorized to enter into the agreement with Bassett Creek Water
Management Commission on the construction of the Plymouth Creek Park Pond
Improvement Project.
FURTHER, that Barr Engineering Company is designated as the consulting
engineer for the project and are directed to prepare the plans and
specifications for review and approval by the City and the Commission.
