HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-777CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 92-777 ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION OF 49TH AVENUE. FORMERLY CREST VIEW DRIVE AND WELLINGTON DRIVE, FORMERLY HILLSIDE AVENUE IN SKYLINE HILLS UNIT NO. 1 WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851, Sandy Lester had previously petitioned the City Council for the vacation of 49th Avenue adjacent to her property; and WHEREAS, Hennepin County has requested the City of Plymouth to amend the original resolution vacating a portion of said streets in lieu of subsequent proceedings. The proposed vacation is described as follows: That part of 49th Avenue, formerly Crest View Drive, and that part of Wellington Lane, formerly Hillside Avenue, all as dedicated in the plat of Sky Line Hills - Unit No. 1, which lies between the east line of said plat and the northwesterly prolongation of the southwesterly line of Block 3, in said plat. AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of January 4, 1993 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law.
