HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-774CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 92-774 APPROVING VARIANCE REQUEST PLYMOUTH CITY CODE SECTION 500.17, SUBDIVISION 4 (STREET GRADES) SUGAR HILLS FIRST ADDITION (92056) WHEREAS, in order to provide a more aesthetically pleasing setting at the intersection of 37th Avenue North and Weston Lane within Sugar Hills First Addition; and WHEREAS, in order to accomplish this the developer is requesting an 8X street grade in lieu of 71 as provided for in the subdivision code and WHEREAS, the variance request was made in order to minimize the disturbance to the wooded lots fronting on Weston Lane which will reduce the impact on the mature trees contiguous to Weston Lane that are proposed to be preserved by the construction of boulder retaining walls; and WHEREAS, the proposed increase in grade based on the plan provided by BRW is an acceptable design. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That a variance be granted for the increased street grade of 8X.
