HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-766RESOLUTION NO. 92-'66 RESOLUTION AWARDING BID NW -17 TRUNK SANITARY SEWER - PHASE II CITY PROJECT NO. 040 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for NW -17 Trunk Sanitary Sewer Project - Phase II, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: COMPANY TOTAL BID EJM Pipe Services $ 193,600.00 Progressive Contractors 198,092.00 Barbarossa & Sons 261,614.00 S.J. Louis Construction 343,238.00 WHEREAS, it appears that EJM Pi: -.e Services of Lino Lakes, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter _ into the attached contract with EJM Pipe Services of Lino Lakes, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for the NW -17 Trunk Sanitary Sewer Project - Phase II according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk in the amount of the low bid of $193,600. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
