ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
1993 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM
CITY PROJECT NO. 301
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 92-677 of the City Council adopted the 26th day of
October. 1992. fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to certain
streets in Maintenance Districts 6 and Vicksburg Lane from State Highway 55
to Schmidt Lake Road and 36th Avenue from Zachary Lane to State Highway 169
shown in the 1991 Pavement Management Biannual Update; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the reconstruction of streets by the
installation of bituminous pavement, repair or installation of concrete curb
and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly
publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was held
thereon the 16th day of Nov.ber. 1992, at which time all persons desiring
to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA;
I. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council
resolution adopted October 26. 1992.
2. Short -Elliott -Hendrickson. Inc. is designated as engineer for
the improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications
for the making of such improvement.
3. The project includes:
A. The reconstruction. curb repair or installation of new
concrete curb and gutter of:
Vicksburg Lane from T. H. 55 to Schmidt Lake Road
36th Avenue N. from Zachary Lane to T.H. 169
Industrial Park Boulevard from Xenium Lane to T.H. 55
T.H. 55 Frontage Road from Industrial Park Bonlevard to
County Road No. 6
East Center Circle from Xenium Lane to Industrial Park
Boulevard
Water Tower Circle from Xenium Lane to County Road No. 6
Necessary improvements to the storm drainage will be made where feasible.
