HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-716CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 92-716 APPROVING THE RESULTS OF THE COMPREHENSIVE OPERATIONAL ANALYSIS COMPLETED BY THE METROPOLITAN TRANSIT COMMISSION ON OCTOBER 12, 1992 WHEREAS, the City is deshous of maintaining a cost effective growing Plymouth Metrolink Transit Service; and WHEREAS, since the inception of the Plymouth Metrolink Program there has been no comprehensive examination of bus routes and how they could be made more cost effective and productive; and WHEREAS, the City has entered into an agreement with the Metropolitan Transit Commission whereby a Comprehensive Operational Analysis has been completed including substantial input from existing riders; and WHEREAS, the City Council at its November 2, 1992 meeting has received the results of this analysis. NOW, THBREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does, accept the Comprehensive Operational Analysis dated October 12, 1992 and hereby authorizes the recommendations of that report be entered into the Request for Proposals to be solicited in December for service commencing May 1, 1993. Adopted by the City Council on November 2, 1992.
