RESOLUTION NO. 92--05
APPROVING FINAL LAYOUT
HIGHWAY 55 SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 210
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of the Department of Transportation has
prepared a final layout for the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway
Number 188 renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 55 within the corporate limits
of the City of Plymouth, from 0.5 miles west of Fernbrook Lane to 18th
Avenue and seeks the approval thereof; and
WHEREAS, said final layouts are on file in the Office of the Department
of Transportation, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked, labeled, and
identified as Layout No. 1 S.P. 2723-87, 92, 93 (55-188) from 0.5 miles
west of Fernbrook Lane to 18th Avenue and at the City of Plymouth.
NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED that said final layouts for the improvement of
said Trunk Highway with the corporate limits be and hereby are approved
subject to the following revision:
The median on the south leg of County Road 61 at its
intersection with Highway 55 shall be reduced in length to
permit left turns into and out of the southerly driveway to
the AMOCO Service Station at the southeast corner of the
intersection.
