RESOLUTION 92-704
APPROVING VARIANCE TO CITY CODE STANDARDS TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION WITHOUT A FIRE
LANE FOR OPUS CORPORATION FOR LOT 2, BLOCK 2, BASS CREEK BUSINESS PARK LOCATED
NORTHWEST OF COUNTY ROAD 10 AND TRENTON LANE (92100)
WHEREAS, OPUS Corporation has requested approval of a Fire Lane Variance for
OPUS Corporation for Lot 2, Block 2, Bass Creek Business Park located
northwest of County Road 10 and Trenton Lane North; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the variance to City Code standards to
allow construction without a fire lane for Lot 2, Block 2, Bass Creek Business
Park as requested by OPUS Corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve a variance to the
City Code to permit construction on Lot 2, Block 2, Bass Creek Business Park
located northwest of County Road 10 and Trenton Lane North, per a Site Plan
administratively approved without a fire lane along the north side of the
proposed building. The basis for the variance is topographic hardship due to
extreme natural grades along the north side of the site.
