RESOLUTION NO. 92- 696
DECLARING ADECUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PRE:ARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - ARMSTRONG HIGH SCHOOL
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the Principal of Armstrong
High School requesting installation of a residential street light on
Zachary Lane adjacent to the driveway into the high school parking lot.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Zachary Lane
by the installation of residential street lighting, filed
with the City Council on November 2, 1992 is hereby declared
to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property
affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to
Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 10OZ of the affected property
owners and they have waived their rights to public
Improvement and special assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he
is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient
speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether
the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it
should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some
other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement
as recommended.
