RESOLUTION NO. 92-689
APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH THE
MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR
REIMBURSEMENT OF TUITION
WHEREAS, beginning on January 1, 1994 State Certified Technicians must be
used on all State Aid work; and
WHEREAS. the Minnesota Department of Transportation State Aid for
Location Transportation Division has offered to reimburse tuition costs
for attendance at courses required for MnDOT Certification of Engineering
Technicians; and
WHEREAS. the tuition costs eligible for reimbursement from the State
Administrative Account will be for any class taken after November 1, 1992
and before July 31, 1995; and
WHEREAS, each local agency will be limited to a total reimbursement of
$5.000; and
WHEREAS. the reimbursement request will be processed only after a signed
copy of the Minnesota Department of Transportation Agreement No. 70143
has been submitted to MnDOT; and
WHEREAS. dollars must be encumbered as required by law prior to the
completion of the class being requested reimbursement for; and
WHEREAS. a copy of the payment voucher or check showing proof of payment
for each course attended must be submitted to MnDOT.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Minnesota Department of Transportation
Agreement No. 70143 is hereby approved and the City Engineer. City Clerk.
and City Manager are authorized to sign this agreement.
