RESOLUTION AWARDING BID
WESTON LANE AREA DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 130
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of storm drainage
improvements and all necessary appurtenances bids were received, opened, and tabulated
according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:

Ford Construction Company, Inc. $ 55,852.00
Penn Contracting, Inc. 63,939.00
Northdale Construction Company, Inc. 71,990.50
CCS Contracting 79,210.00
WHEREAS, it appears that Ford Construction Company, Inc. of Excelsior, MN is the lowest
responsible bidder. complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
into the attached contract with Ford Construction Company, Inc. of
Excelsior, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the installation
of storm drainage improvements according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in
the office of the City Clerk in the amount of the low bid of $55,852.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith
to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the
deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be
retained until a contract has been signed.
