HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-677CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 92-677 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS 1993 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM CITY PROJECT NO. 301 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted August 3, 1992, a report has been prepared by Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, Inc. with respect to certain street in Maintenance District 6, and Thoroughfare Guide Plan streets including Vicksburg Lane from Trunk Highway 55 to Schmidt Lake Road and 36th Avenue North from Zachary Lane to State Highway 169 based upon the 1991 Pavement Management Bi -Annual Update; and WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on October 26, 1992. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: I. The Council will consider the improvement of such project in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property within the designated 1993 Street Program area for a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,888,520. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 16th day of November 1992 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
