RESOLUTION N0. 92-669
DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
STREET LIGHTING - 26TH AVENUE NORTH AND BLACK OAKS LANE
WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the residents abutting Black
Oaks Lane and 26th Avenue North requesting installation of an ornamental
residential street light at the intersection of 26th Avenue North and
Black Oaks Lane.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of 26th Avenue
North and Black Oaks Lane by the installation of residential
ornamental street lighting, filed with the City Council on
October 26, 1992 is hereby declared to be signed by the
required percentage of owners of property affected thereby.
This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes
Section 429.035.
2. The petition is signed by 10OZ of the affected property
owners and they have waived their rights to public
improvement and special assessment hearings.
3. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he
is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient
speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether
the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it
should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some
other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement
as recommended.
