HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-633CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 92-633 ADOPTING ASSESSMENTS 1992 DELINQUENT MONTHLY WATER, SEWER, RECYCLING, AND STREET LIGHTING SERVICE CHARGES WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessments for 1992 Delinquent Monthly Water, Sewer, Recycling, and Street Lighting Service charges as provided by the City Ordinances and has amended such proposed assessment as it deems just; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part thereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against the land named therein and each tract of land herein included is hereby bound to be identified by the amount of the assessment levied against it. 2. Such assessments shall be payable over a period of one year. 3. Assessments may be paid in full to the City of Plymouth Finance Director by November 4, 1992 without additional charge. After November 4, 1992 daily interest charge based on an annual rate of 8.00% starting on October 6, 1992 will be due in addition to the levied assessment. The last date a payment can be accepted by the City of Plymouth is November 30, 1992. After that date interest shall be added from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1993 and payment can only be made to Hennepin County with the 1993 property taxes. 4. The clerk shall. forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of the county and such assessments shall be collected and paid over the same manner as other municipal taxes. S. The total cost of the 1992 Delinquent Monthly Water, Sewer, Recycling and Street Lighting Service charges assessed by this resolution are $206,871.73.
