HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1992-629CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 92-629 INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS WHEREAS, the City's consultant, Strgar-Roscoe•-Fausch, Inc., has completed a Traffic Signal Justification Study at the intersection of Fernbrook Lane and Harbor Lane and determined that a traffic signal is currently justified; and WHEREAS, the Minnesota Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices indicates that a multi -way stop is warranted as an interim measure where traffic signals are warranted and urgently needed; and WHEREAS, the City's consultant, Strgar-Roscoe-Fausch, Inc., has completed an analysis of a temporary four way stop installation at Fernbrook Lane and Harbor Lane and determined that with the construction of a northbound right turn lane up to Harbor Lane, the four way stop installation would function in an acceptable manner. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That a temporary four way stop sign installation be installed at the intersection of Harbor Lane and Fernbrook Lane after the northbound right turn lane is completed and opened to traffic up to Harbor Lane.
